The comeback of the band after 3 years has been celebrated with the great success of their album Proper Dose as well as a very successful and well received tour in the fall of 2018. The concert was amazing. It was on the album cycle for their self titled album The Story So Far. This particular video is of a song of that album called "Solo". This video captures the energy in the room from this band. The Story So Far has a great way of getting the entire room hyper and excited to be apart of the set. Singing along to the setlist and moshing in the crowd is part of the experience and is what makes this band so great to see live.

This music video is something so different for The Story So Far. The story of the girl through this video is a new exploration of the story telling abilities of Parker and the rest of the band. the cinematography is beautiful and breathtaking in the video as well as the story that it is trying to convey. "Upside Down" is the second single off of TSSF new album Proper Dose. The song is a lot slower than most of their previous work.  The video is also very different from their previous videos. This is the first of their music videos that was filmed with the intention of a music video. Previous videos feature footage from concerts or band tour diaries. 

The Story So Far is taking a very different approach to this album cycle. They are doing things differently and taking a lot more risks, for a punk band to take. This album and this song in particular will take them to new heights. The filmography of this video creates a very beautiful picture and makes you feel as though you're experiencing exactly what Parker Cannon, the lead singer, is experiencing though this song.

This highly anticipated album far exceeds the expectations of fans around the world. The lead singer, Parker Cannon, says of the new album "I think its just leaps and bounds ahead of anything we've ever done." The fans of the band have long awaited this album. Talks of a fourth studio album started in the Spring of 2016. less than a year after their release of their self titled album. Three years later, fans across the world can dive into Proper Dose and get what they've been looking for for over three years.

The album starts with the title track "Proper Dose" which is classic TSSF sound, but leads then into a different feeling from their previous albums. "Take Me As You Please" and "Growing On You" are two of the most musically different tracks on the album. The growth that this band exhibits though this album is unlike any other punk band at this time. They are open to new sounds, slowing things down or speeding them up. When they feel stuck in the same old songs, they change up their tune quickly. This album is by far the most musically different o their career as a band. there are only good things to come.
